First and foremost the money raised during this BINGO is all for helping the La Crosse community mostly through non-profits.
BBBB BINGO is always evolving so you have to check their Facebook ⇒ (Beer By Bike Brigade)⇐ often to see what is happening. Right now the progressive blackout BINGO grows by $1,000 each week it is not won. Brown out was introduced recently that is $1/card and the winner gets 1/2 of the money from those card sales. Goal in brown out is like blackout-to get your card full. With brown out they play until someone wins that night. There are also secondary prizes for most games going to the 2nd (or more) winners that get BINGO after the 1st person. Raffle tickets are usually $5 or $10 for a prize that is well worth that and often times there are 2nd and 3rd prizes for that as well.
BBBB BINGO has evolved in just the few months it has been around. They had to move out of the first venue to the La Crosse Center, one of the smaller halls. Now they have moved again to on of the bigger gathering spaces at the La Crosse Center. Games and the extra stuff have been changing along the way also. And to make things better there are now food options available from local vendors. UPDATE-as of 1/30/23 the La Crosse Center will be taking over the food catering.
Each week a different group is selected to be the callers and help with card sales. They get a check from BBBB for $250 for their help.
