Update: After many chats, e-mails and phone calls I was able to get an RMA to return these earbuds. It took a lot to get Wyze to understand they didn’t have their promotional returns policy showing anywhere someone would see it during a promotional purchase. Heck, you have to search for it since it is not on their site tree.
Fred: Before you ever order from Wyze make sure the item you are ordering is not on sale, you can’t return Black Friday, Cyber Monday or anything 50% off or more. Basically if it is on sale they won’t back their products. You have to search “Black Friday” to find this policy yet they have items on sale for more than 50% off and still have “30 Day Hassle Free Returns” listed by the product.
We ordered these because they claimed great voice isolation with their many microphones. Nothing like having someone doing the dishes on one end and having it sound like cans in a garbage disposal on the other end. Much of my time has been spent in a semi where I use other noise cancelling headsets. While they are not earbuds I use we thought these would be good based on their claims. They did sound better than some $30 ones I had bought my wife before. She is not a fan of over the head ear pieces. After trying these we were disappointed, well I was disappointed since I was the one dealing with the background noise on a phone call.
Returning them has been a nightmare. They were purchased during a Black Friday or Cyber Monday sale and Wyze has special terms for returns during those sales and sales of items that are 50% off or more. The thing it is not is not stated during the checkout process. Returns/refunds policy is available but not these special sale policies. You have to know to search “Black Friday” to find that policy. Below are some screenshots of me going thru the purchase process when these earbuds were more than 50% off. All the while the page shows 30-day hassle-free returns next to the item.

We didn’t use them long enough for music or podcasts to rate them that way. Our intent was to use them to reduce background noise during phone calls and for that they are not that good. They were $83.99 original price, I got them for $63.99 then right after that they went on sale for $39.99. My purchase price of $63.99 was not 50% or more but was during their holiday sale hence the grief trying to return them. It makes no sense to not accept a return a customer is not satisfied with, especially if the customer was not aware of this hidden return policy.
If you search “Black Friday” on their site you will find the promotional terms. And if you only read the bold print of the paragraph heading you might not read it to see about returns.
Copied from the Wyze site, I made the return policy bold and red so it stands out. They really did a good job to hide this policy.
